If you have ever had an allergic reaction to alprazolam, other benzodiazepines, or any component of the product's formula, do not use alprazolam. Alprazolam should also not be used if you have myasthenia gravis (a nerve and muscle disease that results in muscle weakness) or acute narrow-angle glaucoma (increased pressure inside the eyes).
This medicine is contraindicated for children under 18 years of age.
